Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have actually been taken by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: “It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be dangerous.
“These kinds of products being sold, typically online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no assurance about their safety.
“You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this might have on your health.”
